Refund Policy: Seventy-five percent refunds will be granted if requested more than two weeks prior to the camp. No refunds will be possible if requested within two weeks of the camp. All course offerings are contingent upon sufficient enrollment. Windward School reserves the right to alter the offerings at camps or to cancel camps. A full refund will be made in the event of cancellation.

Q Do you offer financial aid?

Windward Summer Camps does offer financial aid to qualifying families. Please click hereto access the Financial Aid Application.

Q Where do I drop-off and pick-up my child from camp?

Please drop-off and pick-up your child in our Sawtelle Parking Lot (located at: 3481 Sawtelle Blvd). Please note: on the first day of camp parents are asked to walk their child up to the check-in tables located in front of our Lewis Jackson Memorial Sports Center.

Q What time does summer camp begin and end?

Summer camp begins every morning at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

Q Do you offer daycare?

Windward Summer Camps will be providing extended care for the summer. 
 
Extended Care Hours:

Morning Before Camp Daycare - 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - $45 per week
Afternoon Extended Daycare  - 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.- $65 per week 

Q Do you have a lunch program?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of healthy and nutritious meals throughout the summer. All current Windward Students may use their Windward OneCard to purchase lunch each day at camp. Please add money to your child's OneCard as you normally would during the school year. Non-Windward students may bring cash and credit cards to purchase lunch. You are also always more than welcome to send your child with a lunch from home if you prefer. Q If my child has a food allergy or dietary restrictions should they purchase lunch at school?

While a variety of dining options will be made available to campers for purchase, students with moderate-to-severe food allergies (triggered by exposure to nuts, gluten, wheat, soy, eggs, dairy etc.) are encouraged to bring their own lunches as needed to supplement daily food service offerings.

Windward Sports Camps CIT Program
 
The Windward Summer Camp Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is open to rising Ninth Grade students who will be enrolled at Windward for the 2019-20 school year. The CIT position is a hybrid camper/counselor. CIT’s will both participate in camps and assist the Counselors and Staff in leading groups and ensuring the camp runs smoothly. CIT’s will pay half-price for camp in recognition of their work assisting the staff.
 
CIT applicants must complete the application for the position no later than Friday, March 22. They will be notified of acceptance no later than April 8. Attendance at past years of camp will be one factor in selecting CIT’s. Students will be asked to indicate the week(s) for which they are applying.
 
The CIT Program is open to Windward students only. Applications will be evaluated by the Program Lead, the Athletics Leadership Team, and the Director of Summer Programs. CIT experience will be one factor in considering Counselor applications in future years. Those who wish to be counselors in the future are strongly encouraged to consider being CIT’s as rising Ninth Grade students.
