Since 2018, the Windward Network has seen significant growth, thanks to the increasing amount of connections and partnership within our community. Through the Windward Network, we have placed over 350 Student and Alumni interns in 80+ organizations
throughout Los Angeles. Many of those internship offerings have been provided by Windward Parents and Alumni, and we’ve seen

Internships
Internships offered through the Windward Network provide meaningful experiences for current students (rising Juniors and Seniors) and college-age alumni in a variety of different fields beyond the classroom. Participants have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into their industries of interest, develop skills, cultivate professional connections, and strengthen their resumes, all while receiving academic credit.

Windward at Work
Our online mentoring and professional support platform, Windward at Work, now has over 900 users! Through Windward at Work, students and alumni are able to seek guidance from mentors—Windward parents, alumni, Friends of Windward—who have signed up to help assist in areas ranging from building a compelling resume and preparing for interviews to making introductions within their network.
Additionally, students and alumni are able to search for and apply to both internship and job openings through the platform.
