Student Leadership

Leadership Organizations

Our students are encouraged to connect their interests and passions with the leadership opportunities available on campus, allowing them to grow the skills needed to communicate and collaborate with others and develop meaningful connections within our community and outside of our community.

Clubs

In the spirit of creation, innovation, and connectedness, Windward School offers students the opportunity to come together with faculty who have similar interests and passions to create a student or faculty-driven club. These clubs allow for all members of our community to engage in open conversations about relevant topics as they support traditions on campus as well as support the up-and-coming programming and initiatives we offer.

Students interested in starting their own club in the Upper School are able to present their ideas biannually to the Clubs Review Committee.

Affinity & Allyship Groups

To build community and foster belonging, Windward School offers Student Affinity and Allyship Groups, which are safe spaces where students can connect with others who share the same cultural background or sexual orientation. Within these groups, discussions about current events, learning about other cultures, self-worth, and cultural awareness occur. There are also cross-cultural affinity meetings where different groups can unite.
