The Design and Maker Class Colloquium is pleased to announce the opening of our Call for Proposals for the event on June 11, 2019! We are seeking presenters interested in running a breakout session (30 min) or a hands-on workshop (120 min).
We are looking for sessions and workshops that involve a variety of topics, skills, and curricula related to making, design, coding, and engineering. This year’s colloquium will immediately follow the Students as Makers: the Future of VR conference held at the same location. This two-day event promises to bring together developers and educators interested in all aspects of making and virtual and augmented reality.
Although not required, below are some aspects we would like to encourage prospective presenters to consider:
- Offering specific pedagogical and/or curricular connections
- Targeting your workshop for beginner, intermediate, or advanced level participants
The deadline for proposals is April 15, 2019.
For our returning presenters and participants, please note that the enent format is one-day and includes a mix of short breakout sessions in the morning with hands-on workshops in the afternoon. This format allows us to host the event in the early summer!
Save the date: June 11, 2019
Registration will open in early March!
