Windward Senior Named YoungArts Winner
Windward would like to congratulate Senior Valentina Shelton, who was recently named a 2018 YoungArts National Competition Winner! One of 757 promising young artists selected from a nationwide pool of over 7,600 applicants, Valentina was recognized for her talent in music and the performing arts. In addition to a cash prize, as a YoungArts winner Valentina will be eligible to participate in YoungArts’ regional programs, will have access to a prolific group of artistic mentors, and will have the opportunity to share her work with the public at a number of renowned institutions.
