Gift matching is a way to increase the value of your own charitable gift through your employer. Simply send us the appropriate paperwork from your employer’s Human Resources Department, and your gift to Windward School will be matched according to your company’s guidelines. We will take care of the rest.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer's name below.
A gift to Windward of appreciated securities entitles the donor to a charitable deduction for its full current market value, without paying the capital gains tax on the appreciation, which would be required if the securities were sold for personal gain. We welcome gifts of goods or services that may provide a budgetary savings to the School to fulfill a particular departmental need. Per IRS guidelines, the School will provide a thank you letter substantiating your in kind gift. Please consult with your tax advisor to identify the tax benefits specific to such a gift.
