Campus Comes to Life During Spirit Week

From Oct. 8 to Oct. 13, the Windward community came together in celebration of Spirit Week. From class competitions to dress-up days to a Homecoming Football game victory, the week was a shining showcase to the kind of energy and comraderie our campus is known for.

Throughout the week, students and faculty took part in numerous fun activities, ranging from outlandish games and student showcases to teambuilding exercises and athletic events. It also served as a way to highlight our diverse, inclusive culture, with both National Coming Out Day and the International Day of the Girl encouraging expression and education.

Each day, students participated in events and activities to earn class points. Our Senior class ultimately emerged victorious, taking a narrow win over our Ninth Graders with an impressive 34,200 points. Also victorious were our Volleyball and Football teams. Girls Volleyball defeated Crossroads in their varsity matchup, while the Football team came out on top of Flitridge Prep 65-42 in the Homecoming Football game.

It was quite a week, and we couldn't have done it without the dedication of our parents, students, faculty, and staff volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions.
