Program Enhancements

Program Enhancements

The Windward Fund supports everything within the active learning studios, labs, offices and other academic, arts, and athletic spaces. Details such as design-unit stations facilitate small groups to work independently, and communal tables for group collaboration have enhanced student participation and collaboration. Additionally, Windward seeks to provide value-added improvements that enhance the immersive experience throughout every school-wide program. In recent years, program enhancement funds have been used for furnishing the academic hub with sustainable, modular furnishings, wall monitors, software, acoustic improvements, and smaller upgrades that can be seen throughout campus.

The Financial Aid pillar of the Windward Fund ensures that our School maintains an economically diverse population that provides an opportunity for academic success for students across all economic backgrounds. It also delivers an array of financial support, allowing recipients to remain active and engaged community members and participate in everything the School offers.

Research and Development

Research and Development

Research and Development is a big part of what has made Windward a premier educational institution in Los Angeles. This funding allows teachers to continue their education and attend conferences to stay current on teaching methods and trends in education. It also allows teachers to research and grow new programming ideas for Windward and to develop partnerships with top universities.
