Windward Fund Goal: $2,150,000
Beginning in September and concluding by Winter Break, the 100 Days of Giving Campaign seeks 100% participation in the Windward Fund from current parents, faculty and staff, and our Board of Trustees.

Federal Tax ID: 95-2701337
The Leadership Giving program recognizes the generosity of philanthropic leaders who donate at least $10,000 annually. To acknowledge their leadership, these donors are invited to a special recognition event with the Head of School in early Spring.

Benefactor level supporters will be invited to a March cocktail party, hosted by our Head of School, in appreciation of their support.

Windward Fund Benefits:

Program Enhancements

Program Enhancements

While big campus upgrades like the two newest buildings are paid for through major gifts, there are always smaller enhancements to be made around campus. For the past two years, program enhancement funds have been used to purchase computers, SmartBoards, lab equipment, and other resources for the new buildings. This money has also been used to purchase new software, such as that for our World Language Department.

Research and Development

Research and Development

Research and Development is a big part of what has made Windward so great. This money allows teachers to continue their education and attend conferences to stay current on teaching methods and trends in education. It also allows teachers to research and grow new programming ideas for Windward and to develop partnerships with top universities.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Financial Aid allows our admissions team to create a student body with great socioeconomic diversity, a student body that is more similar to the makeup of the college classes and workplace environments in which all of these students will be expected to perform later in life. Students with different family backgrounds have different perspectives on everything, which make for more dynamic conversations both in and out of the classroom. Since 2008, financial aid recipients have maintained an average GPA of 3.7 and 100% of aid recipients have continued on to college.
