Lunar New Year kicked off on January 29 - to celebrate the year of the snake students in Windward’s Mandarin classes put on a special assembly in front of an excited crowd. From an amazing yo-yo spectacle to a delicate fan dance to a dragon soaring through the gym, this student-driven event drew plenty of cheers. At Lunch, Windward’s AAPI affinity group kept the celebration going with a wide variety of delicious snacks, engaging games, and a spirited line dance performance. Thank you to our students and faculty advisors for their hard work, and to our student and parent volunteers for helping to make the event so knowledgeable and fun!
