We are thrilled to announce that two of our performing artists, Seniors Crystin Herring and Cole Kaller, are 2025 YoungArts winners!
Presented by the National Foundation for the Advancement of Artists, the YoungArts competition identifies exceptional young artists ages 15-18 in 10 artistic disciplines in the written, visual, and performing arts.
This year, winners were selected from more than 11,000 applications. Cole is a winner in the category Theater/Musical and Crystin, a Winner with Distinction is a winner in the categoryTheater.
YoungArts Award winners receive recognition and a monetary award of $250, while YoungArts Award With Distinction winners are invited to participate in National YoungArts Week, where they will participate in performances, readings, and workshops with acclaimed professional artists. Award winners with distinction will also have their work further evaluated for cash awards of up to $10,000. In addition, if they attend National YoungArts Week and meet the eligibility requirements, they may be nominated for U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school artists.
For the duration of their careers, YoungArts award winners are eligible for exclusive creative and professional development support; microgrants and financial awards; presentation and performance opportunities with major venues and cultural partners nationwide; and all-expenses paid learning intensives.
