Since its founding more than four decades ago, Windward has continued to develop and prosper thanks to those community members, volunteers, foundations, and other friends who have given generously to ensure the continuous advancement of the school.

For the NAIS Student Civic Leadership Summit Conference, the engagement and belonging committee enrolled five students to represent Windward in Washington, DC. Julianna Samarage '26, Jaia Santo '27, Zachary Kraus '27, Dominic Yang '28, and Kai Nishimura-Seese '28 met students from around the country to discuss what solutions they could offer their respective schools. From visiting the African American History Museum to presenting solutions to the current climate of microaggressions within independent schools, our students proved to be strong leaders and visionaries for the future.
