On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Windward welcomed Chelsea Holley, Director of Admissions from Spelman College and Alvin Conteh, Associate Director of Admissions from Morehouse College to host an information session for prospective students in the new DeGeorge Family Innovation & Arts Center. "The energy was electric and families and students were so grateful for the opportunity to be at Windward to learn more about both colleges," say Becca Larson, Dean of College Counseling. The event drew an impressive crowd, with families traveling from as far as San Bernardino to attend. In total, the attendee list represented over 50 different high schools from across the Los Angeles area, highlighting the strong interest in these two historically Black colleges.
