Parents Connect at Grounds for Conversation

Windward Communications

On February 27, Windward hosted the second of its parent-centric community gatherings, Grounds for Conversation. Held in the Center for Teaching and Learning, Grounds for Conversation is intended to provide parents and guardians with a safe and fun space to come together and get to know one another on a personal level while enjoying delicious coffee and tea. The intimate nature of the space allows parents and guardians to explore commonalities, celebrate differences, and enjoy meaningful conversation outside of the traditional parent scope. This meeting also featured a presentation from Windward counselor and parent Sarah Musich, whose discussion - Parenting in Uncertain Times: How to Support Yourself and One Another - introduced additional tools and resources for parenting and self-care. It was a morning that was as informative as it was enjoyable - thank you to everyone who attended!
