The Omnicats recently competed in the Los Angeles Regionals just 11 days after returning from the Pacific Canada Regional. By the end of three days, the team finished in 7th place, a new best finish in the history of the Omnicats.

Natalie Behrendt ‘25 won The Dean’s List Award, an award recognizing the two most outstanding sophomore or junior members of the FIRST community at the Regional. She now heads to Houston to represent Windward and the LA region at Worlds.

“Our students and mentors were truly amazing,” says Simon Huss, Director of the STEAM Program. “I couldn’t be prouder of all of them. In a single event we elevated our status from being a middle of the road team to a team and school to be reckoned with. Go Omnicats!”
