On Sunday, March 12, the Upper School Vocal Music Ensemble and Chromatics students had the wonderful opportunity to attend a concert by the Philippine Madrigal Singers, one of the best chamber choirs in the world. This ensemble is the first choir in the world to win the prestigious European Grand Prix choral competition twice; this choir has also been designated as a UNESCO Artist for Peace.
"The concert had some of the best choral singing that Los Angeles has been able to offer since the Covid-19 pandemic," said Daniel Koh, Director of Performing Arts and Vocal Music Advisor. "We were fortunate and blessed to be there!"
