This year’s Middle School Sports Extravaganza was a lively celebration combining athletic events, favorite foods, and plenty of school spirit. The games were competitive, fans cheered enthusiastically, and halftime activities added to the excitement.

A highlight of this year’s Extravaganza was the participation of the Middle School Student Leadership group, who were “involved every step of the way, creating posters, developing GooseChase prompts, attending the games, and most importantly, encouraging their peers to stay, participate, and show support,” said Jocelyn Castillo, Assistant Director of Community Engagement and Belonging for Students. “Their leadership and enthusiasm played a huge role in the energy and success of the event.”

The celebration also featured a variety of food options, including a fruit cart, tacos, and Kona Ice from Culver City.

“I think the Middle School Sports Extravaganza continues to be a special event that highlights not only our Middle School scholar-athletes, but the spirit of our middle school community as a whole," Jocelyn added. "It allows the Middle Schoolers to feel a piece of what is to come when they transition into the Upper School program.”

As always, we are incredibly grateful to our parent volunteers and our facilities and security teams whose support helped make the event run smoothly!
