Mock Trial Club Hosts Deputy District Attorney

On October 24, Windward parent and Deputy District Attorney Jeff Stodel visited campus to meet with members of the Mock Trial Club and share insights from his career in law. Jeff spoke about his journey from corporate law to his current role as Deputy-in-Charge at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office—the largest prosecutorial office in the nation.

During the discussion, he highlighted the rewards and challenges of seeking justice in the courtroom, emphasized the importance of proving the truth beyond a reasonable doubt, and gave students a candid look at what a “day in the life” inside a law office really entails.
