Middle School Math Students Honored for National Math Exam 2020

The results are in from November’s Middle School American Mathematics Contest 8! 157 of Windward’s Middle School students challenged themselves on this annual contest (online this year) along with almost 56,000 students from around the country. It is administered by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) to promote the development of problem-solving skills. Upper School students will have the opportunity to participate in the AMC 10 or AMC 12 on February 4, 2021.


The top 25% in the country scored ≥ 13 on the AMC 8, which included all of Windward’s 1st – 3rd place scores. 25 was the highest possible score and only 57 people nationwide earned that.
