The pursuit and implementation of new ideas has been a hallmark of the school for more than four decades, resulting in a relentless search for new and better ideas that have made Windward into a leading independent school and a model for academic progress.

Windward Athletics creates opportunities for scholar-athletes to learn and compete at the highest level while focusing on personal growth, commitment to teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence.
Community
Partnerships are at the heart of Windward School, whether among alumni members of the Windward Network, active volunteers of the Parent Guild, or civic organizations in our neighborhood of Mar Vista.
Giving
Since its founding more than four decades ago, Windward has continued to develop and prosper thanks to those community members, volunteers, foundations, and other friends who have given generously to ensure the continuous advancement of the school.

Middle School Fall Athletics Wrap-Up: A Season of Spirit, Skill, and Success

Windward Middle School athletes wrapped up an exciting and highly successful fall season, highlighted by four league championship titles and standout performances across every team.

We are proud to celebrate our 2025 Middle School League Champions:

7th Grade Royal Girls Volleyball
7th Grade Royal Flag Football
8th Grade Royal Flag Football
Middle School Girls Tennis

These teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork, dedication, and Wildcat pride throughout the season. Congratulations to all our athletes and coaches on this tremendous achievement!

Our Middle School Swim Team also excelled at their league championship meet, delivering strong races and powerful finishes. A special congratulations goes to Anabel B. '30, Gemma C. '31, and Sam K. '30, each of whom earned gold medals in individual events.

From the courts to the fields to the pool, our Middle School Wildcats showed incredible effort, sportsmanship, and growth this fall. Well done to all!
