Middle School Athletics Ends Strong Fall Season

Windward Communications
What a Fall for Windward Athletics! From undefeated seasons to team and individual bests, our Middle School scholar-athletes excelled in multiple sports.

Girls Cross Country
Behind a series of season-best performances, the Wildcats captured the Girls Pacific Basin League title at the championship meet held November 4. The combination of 7th Graders Monica K., Taryn O., and Nina A., along with 8th Graders Ella A., Zoey G., and Haley H., proved to be too much for Windward's opponents.

Girls Tennis
The Wildcats defeated Brentwood in the semifinals and Crossroads in the finals to complete an undefeated season. In addition to winning the team title, Sydney G. ’24 and Maggie G. ’25 finished first and second respectively in the PBL individual championships, and the doubles team of Yaya T. ’24 and Elodie M. ’25 captured the doubles crown.

7th Grade Royal Girls Volleyball
The girls defeated Crossroads 2-0 in the semi-finals before winning a thrilling three-set, come-from-behind victory in the finals over St. Paul. A fabulous team effort was highlighted by the steady setting of Charlotte C. ’25, the powerful hitting of Cece T. ’25, and the dominant serving of Devon L. ’25.

7th Grade Royal Flag Football
Trailing Crossroads 19-18 with four seconds left in the semi-final, Jack L. ’25 completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Duke G. ’25 as time expired to send the Wildcats to the final. In the championship game, Windward came out quickly and dominated from start to finish, defeating Calvary Christian 16-6.

Well done, Wildcats! Congratulations on a stellar Fall season!
