On Thursday, Oct. 27, Windward students and faculty came together for a monster mashup of fun and film! Hosting their first ever Halloween Movie Night, Windward’s Media Arts & Film Lab invited attendees to a special 40th anniversary screening of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial! This eerie affair also featured classroom trick-or-treating, a mummy making contest, and all the beanbags and candy you’d need for an excellent evening!

Said Drue Metz, Director of Media Arts & Film Lab, on the inaugural event: “Halloween Movie Night was a surprise hit and the theater was the perfect place for students to pick a blanket, grab a cool seat, a treat, and celebrate a fun Halloween movie together! It felt like a proper movie screening at a theater and an intimate family movie night all in one!”
