Windward's first Heritage Month event of the year was a big success! Thank you to all community members for your enthusiasm and willingness to participate. Your commitment to supporting and uplifting the Latino/Hispanic community is truly commendable, and it is through individuals like you that we can create a more inclusive and harmonious environment.
The year has just begun and the Latino/Hispanic student affinity members are already showing their passion and dedication in spreading cultural awareness! The energy in the room as students were putting candy in the pinatas, and paining their countries flags was truly special!
A special thank you to Jocelyn Castillo, Frances Jones, Tony Reyes, and Norma Gamez for their efforts as Latino/Hispanic affinity leaders. The success of this event would not have been possible without their invaluable contributions.
