In honor of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Windward gathered for a powerful all-school assembly featuring Gitta Rosenzweig, Holocaust survivor and author of Gitta: Hidden Child of the Holocaust.

Gitta shared her personal story of survival, recounting her experiences as a child hidden during the Holocaust. Her moving testimony offered students a firsthand perspective on the importance of remembrance, resilience, and standing against hatred.

We are deeply grateful to Gitta for sharing her story and reminding us of the enduring need to bear witness and foster compassion.
