Throughout the 2022-23 school year, students in Windward’s Film and Video classes were treated to a series of special guest speakers working in the television and film industries. These speakers, comprised of Windward parents and friends with expertise ranging from screenwriting, directing, producing, composing, and more, shared their experiences, insights, and recommendations with our film students as a way of further enriching the work students were doing on campus.
“Having guest speakers who are in the film/tv industry really enriches our film program because they bring real-world experiences to our classes that the students can use on their own projects,” said Regina Hoffman, Film and Video Teacher. “We are so lucky to have these great parents and friends in our community speak to our students and increase their learning and understanding!”
We’d like to extend a special thanks to our amazing guest speakers—Robert Morton (Former Executive Producer), Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith (Screenwriters), Ellen Goldfarb (Director/Producer), and Sven Faulconer (Composer).
