Chamber Music Ensemble Nabs Gold Rating at National Festival

We got the gold! On Saturday, April 23, Windward's Chamber Music Ensemble competed at the Forum Music Festival, where they scored a gold rating as one of the top 10% of competing schools in the nation. Cellists Capp Gordon '23 and Elliott Yun '27 scored section honors, earning outstanding musicianship awards. "I am so very proud of this wonderful group of student artists," said Lisa Weinstein, Performing Arts Coordinator. "The group worked really hard all year long playing very mature music, so this was well deserved."

It was so great to see our students recognized for their talent by top musicians and educators—wonderful work, Wildcats!
