Last week, Boys Golf spent four days in the Santa Barbara area, playing on some of Southern California’s finest courses while also enjoying team bonding and spirited competition.
The trip began on Monday at River Ridge Victoria Lakes and moved to the exclusive La Cumbre Country Club on Tuesday. Wednesday brought a scenic highlight at Sandpiper Golf Club, perched above the Pacific Ocean and renowned for its breathtaking coastal views, and the week wrapped up on Thursday at Sterling Hills Golf Club.
In addition to their time on the links, the group competed in the program’s annual Kentathlon, a five-event competition designed to test a variety of skills. Taken into consideration were total golf scores, a putting contest, a hot shot basketball challenge, a no-limit Texas Hold ’Em poker tournament, and bowling. The competition was fierce, but in the end, Lev Berman ’28 emerged as the overall champion!
