Windward would like to recognize our amazing National Scholastic Art Awards winners, who were recently recognized for their 2021-2022 contributions! The Scholastic Art Awards is the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, and we’re thrilled to have so many talented winners and nominees. “I am endlessly in awe of the creative abilities of my students,” said Hannah Northenor, Visual and Media Arts Teacher. “They are taking all of the hardships, struggles, achievements, and emotional residue of the past two years and channeling it deep into their artistic expressions. These awards are a testament to their power to turn inward, and produce evocative, meaningful artwork.”
