This week, Windward’s 7th Grade students wrapped up their final English unit of the year with lively performances from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
After spending time learning to navigate the complexities of Elizabethan language, students were grouped into small ensembles and assigned scenes to rehearse and perform. Each student memorized lines and made intentional acting choices to demonstrate their understanding of the text.
The culminating performances, shared with their peers, showcased both creativity and comprehension—an engaging end to the year’s studies.
