On October 13, Windward was thrilled to induct the newest members of the Cum Laude Society, as 13 Seniors were celebrated for their exceptional academic achievement in a ceremony attended by family, friends, and faculty.
The Cum Laude Society honors scholastic excellence in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence, justice, and honor—values that closely mirror Windward’s own. Membership in the Society is one of the highest academic distinctions a high school student can achieve.
This year’s inductees were: Charlie Cohn, Daniel Elbaz, Daisy Harkin-Goodrich, Malia Heenan, Kyan Kumar, Lucas Lefevre, Leila Linton, Asher Rush, Aidan Rutman, Grant Ruttenberg, Miles Shimanovsky, Madeline Sloan, and Leah Weissman.
Windward is proud to be one of approximately 350 Cum Laude Society chapters across the United States and abroad. Selection for membership reflects a student’s outstanding scholarship and integrity, with this year’s inductees representing the top 10 percent of the Senior Class.
Congratulations to these exceptional scholars for their passion, dedication, and leadership!
