At the heart of the Performing Arts Department is a commitment to process; to helping students learn and experience what it is to be an artist. Through sequential learning, students develop discipline and focus to enable them to put newly acquired skills into practice. The Performing Arts Department builds ensemble by offering a wide range of courses in dance, instrumental and vocal music, music theory, and theater. All programs offer advanced classes to allow dedicated students to excel in a safe and nurturing environment that recognizes risk and the growth achieved through challenging our comfort zones. Ensemble building is at the core of our philosophy.

2014-2015 Windward ComedySportz HSL Teams!
The Windward ComedySportz program is expanding! Due to the overwhelming up and coming talent we have decided to change the Windward ComedySportz High School League program. Our talent pool is incredibly strong and Mike and I see huge potential in our improvisers. We are very excited about the growth and future of this program.

The new changes include a JV team that will have monthly performances before our scheduled Varsity shows. They will perform a half match starting at6:30 PM. Members of the JV team will have an opportunity to be moved to Varsity throughout the year if performance is stellar and room is available.

The new format:

As you can see this new format allows for 32 playing slots per show! We will open doors at 6:15 for a 6:30 JV match, then open doors again after the JV match (around 6:55pm) for a 7:10ish Varsity match. Audience can stay for it all, or watch just JV or Varsity, cost will still be $5.
